Annual physicals at the practice are intentionally comprehensive. Each visit includes a full one-hour appointment, an in-office EKG, and a detailed review of your laboratory results. Patients complete their labs before the appointment so the entire visit can focus on interpretation, prevention, and personalized planning.
The standard annual panel includes Vitamin D, Vitamin B12 and folate, iron and ferritin, CBC, CMP, a full lipid panel, hemoglobin A1c, blood typing, diabetes and cardiovascular screening, complete thyroid function with antibodies, and PSA monitoring for men when appropriate.
Additional advanced testing can be added based on your needs, such as lipoprotein analysis, lipoprotein(a), and inflammatory and cardiometabolic panels from Cleveland Heart Lab.
These annual visits offer time, clarity, and a complete understanding of your health so you can stay proactive all year long.
Annual physicals at the practice are intentionally designed to be more thorough, more personalized, and more meaningful. An annual physical provides a complete view of your current health and identifies early changes that may affect your long-term wellbeing. The goal is to create clarity, guide decision-making, and support your health throughout the year.

This panel helps detect early signs of heart disease, diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, nutritional deficiencies, anemia, and metabolic imbalance. It establishes a strong baseline and allows for clear comparison from year to year.
For patients who want deeper insight into their metabolic and cardiovascular health, advanced diagnostics can be added to the annual physical. These may include:
Lipoprotein analysis
Lipoprotein(a)
Inflammatory and cardiometabolic markers through Cleveland Heart Lab
These evaluations offer a more precise picture of cardiovascular risk and are especially valuable for patients with family history concerns, unexplained symptoms, or persistent metabolic changes.
Your visit includes a complete head-to-toe physical examination that evaluates your cardiovascular, respiratory, abdominal, musculoskeletal, thyroid, and metabolic health. Vital signs are reviewed, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, oxygen saturation, and weight trends.
A full neurologic screening is performed at every annual physical. This includes an assessment of cranial nerves, balance, gait, coordination, reflexes, sensation, and overall stability. This helps identify subtle neurologic changes that may affect memory, mood, headaches, chronic pain, sleep, or long-term cognitive health. Many patients have never experienced a physical this detailed, and establishing a clear neurologic baseline supports early detection and improved prevention.
With your lab work completed in advance, the visit is dedicated to understanding your results, discussing your current goals, and addressing lifestyle factors such as sleep, nutrition, stress, emotional health, and exercise. Together, we build a plan that supports your wellbeing across the entire year.
Annual physicals are one of the most effective tools for protecting long-term health. Many conditions develop quietly, long before noticeable symptoms appear. Consistent, thorough evaluations allow for early detection, targeted treatment, and meaningful prevention.
These visits offer clarity and peace of mind. They help you stay ahead of risk, understand how your body is changing over time, and make informed decisions about your health. Even when you feel well, an annual exam confirms that everything is functioning as it should and ensures that you receive the support you need for the year ahead.
Schedule your annual physical by phone or online. Your visit will be reserved for the time and attention you deserve.
